A Week of Firsts

Today (7-7-10) marks my actual due date. Thankfully, Brody made his world debut a week ago yesterday (6-29-10). Below are some pictures outlining Brody's first week of life.

Dr. Paige Partridge delivered him.

Colt introduced him to me...

...then to the large crowd of family and friends waiting outside. (Video to follow)

He had his first car ride home (and slept the whole way).

He had his first bath at home... and tinkled on us three times.

He had his first doctor's appointment and passed with flying colors.

All in all- it was a pretty good week!

Brody Has Finally Made It!

Lindsay here. I'll be guest blogging while the happy new parents are wrapping up their stay at the hospital.

Brody arrived Tuesday, June 29 at 12:40pm (I think that was the official time). He was 8 pounds, 6 ounces and is a good looking, healthy little boy.

As his aunt, I can confirm that he's perfect in every way. God is good, and we praise Him for this new addition to our family. Congratulations to Natalie and Colt. May we all be supportive and loving in the way you need us to be.

I posted some more pictures of the little guy on my blog, Essays from Texas.
